But young people continue to frequent the tanning booth year-round--and who’s to stop them? Well, the state of New York is in the process of trying to pass a first-ever statewide under-18 tanning ban. New York (and several other states) already bans children under 14 from fake baking and requires parental permission for teens 14-18, but this new bill could replace that law altogether.
