Issa Rae is keeping the Barbie vibes going, even while on vacation. The actor was the picture of relaxation in a recent series of photos posted to Instagram.
Coming off of the press tour for Barbie, which was cut short due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Rae appears to be taking a well-deserved break — but that doesn't mean the pink outfits have to stop. Despite saying in a press interview that she didn't like pink that much, Issa Rae has embraced the bright color — at least for now. The actor posted a series of snaps to her Instagram wearing a bright pink velour bathing suit from Beyoncé's Ivy Park brand and looking as radiant as ever.
Floating in a sparkling pool in an Ivy Park tube with a drink in hand, Rae paired the cut-out two-piece suit with oversized sunglasses and a high ponytail. “Vacation brought to you by @weareivypark," the actor captioned the photo series.

Rae, who rose to fame from her hit HBO series, Insecure, plays the role of President Barbie in the Greta Gerwig-led film, which opened in theaters this weekend. The blockbuster has already been projected to pull in more than $160 million this weekend, according to Deadline.
Now that actors can no longer participate in press events under the SAG-AFTRA strike, it looks like Issa is taking full advantage of the time off while staying on brand, and we are here for it.
