When the Janoskians show up for an event, pretty much anything is possible, so we knew we were in for some serious laughs when we arrived at our Back-to-School Saturdays kickoff event in L.A. this weekend. But before they started stealing Teen Vogue staffers’ cell phones to snap selfies or giving Daniel Sahyounie a cake to the face, the fun began backstage in the green room, where the boys met Debby Ryan and immediately proceeded to force her into a cheerleading pyramid. Debby looks scared to say the least, but hey, it makes a good photo.
Outside, the BTSS festivities kicked off with Debby and our editor in chief Amy Astley and a fashion show highlighting some of the best trends for back-to-school. It may have felt like 100 degrees in the sweltering LA sun at the Del Amo Fashion Center, but that didn’t stop the models from rocking scarves, sweaters, beanies, and everything fantastic for fall.
Following the runway show, The Janoskians took the stage and performed their hits "Best Friends," "This Freaking Song," and "Real Girls Eat Cake". Speaking of, the performance closed out with two huge green cakes, one of which Daniel Sahyounie got stuffed in his face by a fan. Why? He couldn’t make his section of the audience scream loudly enough for him. Janoskian Fans: 1. Daniel Sahyounie: 0.
