If you have been following JoJo Siwa over the last few months, you’d know things have been quite hectic for her since announcing her image “rebrand” with her single “Karma.” Even if you don’t follow her, chances are some of her recent antics have made it onto your FYPs anyway because she has truly been everywhere — and that’s not stopping anytime soon with a new docuseries on the way.

On July 9, 2024, Variety reported that JoJo Siwa’s recent life happenings, both professional and personal, will be chronicled in a new unscripted docuseries by Dance Moms creator Jeff Collins. Though still untitled, the new series will reportedly show Siwa’s progression from child star to “adult pop star.” The project is described as a “coming-of-age premium docuseries.”

JoJo Siwa is seen on July 11 2024 in Los Angeles California.

According to the official logline: “Cameras will get an in-depth look into her creative process as she charts her course as an adult pop star – evolving from the beloved child star audiences adored on screen. JoJo will reveal what it’s like to be one of the world’s most famous 20-year-olds running various businesses, fulfilling a recording deal, and living by herself for the first time.”

The original report also confirmed that “the storylines will emanate from JoJo, told in first person by her and those within her inner circle,” promising a first-look glimpse at her real persona “as she reveals who she is in the quiet moments away from the blaring lights of the stage.”

The untitled series will see Siwa reunited with Jeff Collins, who also executive produced the Dance Moms spinoff Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, where Siwa made her television debut at the age of just eight.

Ahead of the docuseries, Siwa released her new EP, Guilty Pleasure, on July 12, 2024. It comprises her polarizing single “Karma” and the title track “Guilty Pleasure,” which was co-written by Meghan Trainor and DJ White Shadow.
