While we didn't get to see Julez Smith make his Met Gala debut this year, we got the next best thing: a Met Gala 2025 after-party attendance. Everyone knows our favorite celebrities enjoy a good after-party moment just as much as the main event, so seeing Smith attend the A$AP Rocky x Ray-Ban Met Gala After-Party was a fun sighting. The 20-year-old model arrived wearing a tan Amiri suit with black trim. He paired the look with white and black dress shoes and a large gold and diamond chain.
Julez Smith is all about fashion. Our February MOMENT cover star talked at length about the role fashion has played in his life and how he wants shape his career in the industry. He got his big break last year walking in a Luar runway show because of his mother's relationship with the notable fashion brand. He previously mentioned how his mother loves a good boxy suit so in some ways his Met Gala after-party look is paying homage to that.
While Solange did not attend the Met Gala either, she did attend a Ferragamo pre-Met Gala dinner similarly wearing a monochrome look with a sheer black top and leather skirt complete with thong sandals. We can only dream of getting Solange back on a Met Gala carpet, but until then we're enjoying these fashion. It seems the duo opted for pre and post-Met gala events over the main event, which we can't knock them for doing!

Fashion has been ingrained into Smith's life, something he admits just comes from growing up around his grandmother, mother, and aunt. “It never was specific moments,” Smith told us back in February, referring to his love for fashion. “My family has just been fly my whole life. Since I was a baby, I just remember my mom stepping out in clothes I ain't never seen and seeing my auntie dressing her tour costumes, and my grandma is really the pivotal point of our family when it comes to fashion. She started it off. So hearing the stories from my family about my grandma sewing stuff and just putting it all together, I would say it's been like a 16- to 17-year journey of me falling in love with fashion, if I'm being honest.”
And with his extensive style background, we can only imagine how fun it'll be to see him walk up those Met steps one day in the future.
