July is a busy month with a whole lotta drama — why would we expect anything less as we enter Leo season?! You'll need this tarot reading to navigate it all. There are several joyous and thrilling moments ahead, even though the month will feel like a ride on a merry-go-round due to the three planetary retrogrades that begin (Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune — if we factor in Pluto, whose retrograde began on May 4, four planets are backpedaling in July).

Romantic Venus enters Gemini on July 4, adding intellectualism to our love language. Later in the day, elusive Neptune begins its retrograde journey in Aries, moving back into Pisces (revisiting the first on October 22, and ending on December 10). We will be reimagining our dreams and seeing if we can implement our hopes from the end of March into this time around. Wild card planet Uranus, known as the “Great Awakener,” glides into Gemini for the first time in approximately 84 years. However, Uranus will re-enter Taurus on October 7 until the spring of 2026. Our words have meaning and can implement change.

July 10 brings the Full Buck Moon in Capricorn, giving us the strength and resilience to let go of the past and move forward. Karmic Saturn starts its moonwalk on July 13 in Aries making its way back to Pisces on September 1, and turns direct on November 27. We’ll be reevaluating our commitments and re-designating our boundaries from the early days of May during Saturn retrograde. Mercury commences its backwards spin in Leo on July 18 until August 11. In these weeks, we will decipher where to put our best energy as we move into our heartfelt sentiments.

The Sun’s shift into Leo fires up our lives on July 22 until August 22, bringing passion and fun. July 24’s New Moon in Leo wants us to celebrate ourselves by honoring our truest essence and unique persona. July ends on a tender note, with Venus diving into Cancer on July 30. Love never felt so sweet and sour simultaneously. Chin up, this means that our summer flings have staying power in our lives.

But what does this all mean for you? Here's your tarot reading by zodiac sign.

Aries & Aries Rising Tarotscope:

8 of Swords, 9 of Cups, and Ace of Wands

It’s unlike you to have self-doubt, however there have been moments when you've struggled to assert your esteem. That’s all about to change in the month ahead because you're about to enter a new era in which you are feeling yourself and having a more positive outlook on your situation. Once you get a vote of confidence from yourself, it will be easy to move forward and stand tall.

Taurus & Taurus Rising Tarotscope:

Ace of Cups, 9 of Swords, and Death

Creativity comes and goes in cycles, so it's important not to stress when your inspiration is lacking. To feel like you're connecting to your visions, take a step back and give yourself a break from the project at hand to destress and find your way toward your goal. Don't rush the process; it'll come to you when the moment is right. In the meantime, ebb and flow with the energy.

Gemini & Gemini Rising Tarotscope:

2 of Wands, The Chariot, and 6 of Cups

Let go of the past to heal in the present. The month ahead offers a fresh emotional perspective, but you're still hung up on old wounds and hurts. Discuss these sentiments with a close friend to be heard, seen, and loved. They’ll assist and accept you with open arms. The more you believe in yourself and receive .support from your pals, the easier it’ll be to move on for self-preservation.

Cancer & Cancer Rising Tarotscope:

Knight of Swords, 2 of Cups, and The Empress

You’re embracing the good life and having fun, especially in matters regarding your heart. Opening yourself up to another can and will lead to moments you never expected to experience and thrilling highs in the journey. As long as you sit back instead of trying to control the outcome, beauty and excitement will be waiting for you in July, so jump into the wonderfulness. You’ll be glad you did!

Leo & Leo Rising Tarotscope:

3 of Pentacles, 10 of Wands, and Strength

If you’ve invested a lot of time in a project that isn't working out how you want it to, it’s only a matter of time before you lose interest. You don’t have to win at everything you do. It is fine to switch gears. No matter what, know that you gave your all and don’t have to stress about the outcome. You’re not a quitter; you are just switching gears.

Virgo & Virgo Rising Tarotscope:

Judgment, The Hermit, and Knight of Pentacles

Since you are usually strategic and introspective, making a plan of action that sets objectives and has a clear purpose takes no time. The caveat is that implementing these goals and aspirations into reality will be a slow burn because you want to do it legitimately and with care. Once you get into the groove, the vibe will be seamless. Experience is what gets you into the swing of things.

Libra & Libra Rising Tarotscope:

King of Swords, 10 of Cups, and The Lovers

You can learn how to be a better version of yourself from your significant other or crush (and vice versa). Listen carefully to what they tell you and how they act toward others, because what you hear and see will allow you to make a change for the better — the same goes for them. Ultimately, you are both mirroring each other’s energy and putting your best into the world.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising Tarotscope:

3 of Cups, 4 of Wands, and 6 of Pentacles

Where’s the party? It is wherever you are! The Sun is shining and radiating its glorious rays on you. You’ll have so many peeps to invite to one of your soirées that a few cuts might be made to the guest list. Ensure you don’t forget to include every crew member and tell them the deets beforehand. They’ll help you decorate and take photos to give as moments and souvenirs.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising Tarotscope:

3 of Wands, Queen of Cups, and The Devil

If someone else tells a story, you may be perceived as the villain instead of the kind person you intend to be. Being pigeonholed and misunderstood can make you feel unseen by your peers, especially since you have good intentions. Do not try to change their opinion of you, it will only make you seem thirsty or shady. Once you have the chance to explain your side, go for it!

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising Tarotscope:

The High Priestess, Page of Wands, and King of Cups

Congrats! You're becoming a mature sea goat. Adulting is hard, but it can be done with effort and necessity. With equal parts sensitivity and understanding, you’ll be able to have a compassionate approach to others. Your BFFs will trust your discretion and advice as it'll lead them to a better state of being and indirectly help your standing in the core friend group. You’re the shoulder to lean on.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising Tarotscope:

Justice, 7 of Wands, and Page of Pentacles

You're amazing, Aquarius! Things are circling back in your favor. With hard work and dedication, you can have your cake and eat it too. The key to winning is not to give up, no matter how many obstacles you face. These challenges are minor roadblocks that can easily be overcome with perseverance and tenacity (even though they are frustrating at first). Believe in the dream and it'll come true.

Pisces & Pisces Rising Tarotscope:

The Sun, 6 of Swords, and 7 of Pentacles

You’ve been putting in the time to excel at your internship. As a result, they’re giving you a stipend in exchange for the long hours you’ve spent at the office. Treat yourself with a trinket representing the month's diligence and achievements. You earned it fair and square, so spend it on yourself. Next month, you might receive more money than you expect, since you’re the rising star at the office.
