On July 29th, Justin Bieber stopped by Ryan Seacrest's radio show to announce that a) he has new music coming b) it's called "What Do You Mean?" and c) it'll drop on August 28th. What do you mean we have to wait an entire month, we asked ourselves while simultaneously repeating the name of the title over and over in our minds.
It's been centuries since his last album — technically a year or two, but that's basically eternity in the music industry — so this was Very Big News. Seacrest helped help kick off his 30-day countdown, which seemed very nice at the time, except we learned very soon after that JB had enlisted a whole bunch of celebrities to help him pass the time until the track finally hits our headphones.
