With all the videos of KATSEYE getting slimed (and posing with their slime) at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2025, you might have missed a subtle detail on Manon's look: Her revived septum ring.
Posing on the red carpet and all throughout the show, Manon was seen sporting a tiny silver circular barbell on her septum, a style of jewelry she hadn't been seen wearing since before The Debut: Dream Academy, but that is notably present in a lot of her viral pre-debut pictures.
Manon proudly but quietly showed off her septum ring on the red carpet, making sure the jewelry got a moment to shine while taking solo pictures. She was also spotted flaunting the piece with other KATSEYE members while having fun.
Manon had previously opened up about both her tattoos and piercings on various Weverse live broadcasts. In a livestream from September 2024, the star revealed her septum piercing was still open and she still put jewelry in “every now and then,” with Lara encouraging her to bring it back fully and “set her free,” and it seems like Manon listened. (She also revealed she pierced it four times so… she should be free!)
Shortly after the KCAs, EYEKONS took to social media to react to Manon's new accessory and to say that fans are overjoyed that Manon decided to bring back her septum ring from retirement would be an understatement.
“LETS MAKE SOME NOISE FOR SEPTUM PIERCING MANON MAKING A COMEBACK,” someone wrote on X. “I’ll never stop talking about septum pierced manon sorry,” someone else added, sharing an interview clip from the night. “manon septum is back angels are smiling down on us,” a third one commented.
