When it comes to fashion, Keke Palmer isn’t afraid to get experimental, even if it means doing it all in one day. Yesterday, November 19, the former Teen Vogue cover star gave both a Wednesdaycore look and an all-lace dress a try. As if those major fashion statements weren’t enough, she even had a third look up her sleeve.
Palmer started off her day near Times Square in New York for a morning show appearance. There, she wore a sleeveless knit turtleneck sweater with matching black pants. Here, the focal point was the beauty because she added a pop of color to her look with a fuschia lipstick. She made sure it really popped by wearing her hair in a stunning updo.
Later, Palmer was spotted in Hudson Square in an outfit that totally screamed Wednesday. The actor wore a black-and-white pinstriped blazer with a subtle peplum silhouette and a sparkly silver Vivienne Westwood brooch. It matched her ruffled high-low skirt with the same print. The cascading asymmetrical skirt and train revealed her shoes, satin white point-toe sling-back heels. And to complete the outfit, she held a black patent shoulder bag. On the beauty side, she opted to wear her long bangs down and the rest of her hair in a loosely curled blowout. She added some bright pink blush and a nude lip, making the look feel like it would be right at home at Nevermore Academy.
For her third and final look of the day, Palmer opted to up the ante and really lean into nightwear. For The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she opted for a full lace moment. She wore a collared button-down midi dress with nude lining for a see-through effect. She accessorized with strappy black pumps adorned with a silver pendant and sparkly silver hoop earrings but skipped the necklace to keep the look trendy. She changed her hair and makeup again, opting for a half-up, half-down look with a high pony and a crimson lip with clustered eyelashes.
Palmer has been known to experiment with different trends, like tenniscore, and always dares to take on controversial trends like Tabi shoes, but managing all these three looks in one day is quite the feat!
