Keke Palmer is seeing red — and very much in the literal sense of the word. The actor and former Teen Vogue cover star decided to fully embrace the ruby color for a recent screening of One of Them Days, and the result is one of the most impressive color-coordinating efforts we have seen to date.
On January 8, 2025, Palmer traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to speak on a panel during a screening of the upcoming film, which also stars SZA and premieres Jan. 17. She made sure to dazzle during the event by wearing the most colorful outfit on stage.
For the occasion, Palmer opted for a little red dress featuring a draped one-shoulder neckline with ruched detailing on the side that cascaded into a godet skirt. She paired the dress, which we can best describe as a modern interpretation of the dancer emoji's ‘fit, with a pair of pointed patent leather pumps with delicate straps around her ankles. Instead of a full-on matching moment, Palmer's shoewear of choice featured a slightly darker scarlet shade, giving the look more dimension.
On the beauty side, Palmer stuck to the red color palette, opting for a stunning matte red lip and the copper ‘do she had debuted days prior via Instagram styled in a low chignon with a ’90s-esque single tendril framing the right side of her face. The only element of her glam and fashion that did not feature a coordinating red shade was her nails; instead, she went for a light, slightly iridescent pink and a classic almond shape.
Nailing a color-coordinated look without fully going the monochrome route might seem easy on paper, but it's tough to pull off, and Keke Palmer does it effortlessly.
