Models will do pretty much anything to get a good shot, as evidenced by Kendall Jenner hopping into a public fountain in New York City for a recent photoshoot.
Kendall Jenner, who is no stranger to going over the top for a great pic, teamed up with Calvin Klein to shoot a commercial and decided to take her work to the next level by hopping into the fountain.
First, Jenner posed on the side, leaning all the way back to show off the ‘90s-inspired black dress, shiny black penny loafers, and light blue trench coat. Then, she slipped one leg over, and suddenly, she was in the fountain entirely, standing in the water-soaked trench while water spurted from the fountain behind her. Mmmm, wet socks and shoes…nothing better than that, right? (You can watch the whole sequence in the scroll gallery below.)
Sopping wet footwear notwithstanding, the commercial does look cute in a fanciful, throwback kind of way, as though Jenner was starring in a movie musical or '90s rom-com — and so does the outfit.
This is just par for the course for Jenner, who recently stripped down and posed on horseback for Stella McCartney's winter 2023 campaign, totally naked except for her boots. “Such a memorable experience for me," the noted horse girl said of the campaign imagery and her equine costars. More recently, she kept her modeling closer to home by posing for Gucci with her rumored boyfriend, Bad Bunny. The couple was shot at the airport to promote Gucci's Valigeria collection of duffels and suitcases, and they even hopped on the luggage cart to show off the bags and their big smiles.
As anyone who watched America's Next Top Model can attest, models gotta do what they gotta do to get the photo, and Jenner is up for the challenge. We just hope she took a shower right away after splashing in that big-city fountain water.
