When it comes to both her sartorial and beauty choices, Kristen Stewart is here to prove that she’s no one-trick pony (after all, she’s Karl Lagerfield’s favorite muse and the face of Chanel for a reason). In her latest don’t-call-me-a-Twilighter role for a secretive new Woody Allen film, Kristen keeps us on our toes with a very ladylike look that’s completely different from her signature androgynous style. On set, the star sports a ‘50s-era vibe: a pink tie-front shirt, swingy A-line skirt, Mary Janes, baby pink lips, and perhaps most surprising of all, a white hair bow accessory, which tops off short retro curls.
Though it’s hard to picture Kristen translating the girly ensemble in its entirety into real life, we wouldn’t necessarily put it past her to incorporate smaller elements of ladylike style into her every day look. Take the swipe of pink lipstick she wore earlier this year, which she paired with a sleek menswear-inspired tuxedo suit. And who could forget the gorgeous, sophisticated cat eye she donned with a sparkly sequin romper and plunging neckline last week at the premiere for American Ultra? Kristen is clearly reinventing herself post-Twilight, and we’re definitely enjoying following along on the ride.
