After years of successful makeup and skin care launches, Kylie Jenner is now stepping into new territory — the world of fragrance, with her first-ever perfume, Cosmic Kylie Jenner!
Inspired by the skin, this fragrance is a delightful blend of vibrant fruity florals and cozy musk. Featuring captivating notes of Star Jasmine, Blood Orage, Golden Amber, Red Peony Accord, Vanilla, and Cedarwood.
“I wanted to create something that was truly unique to me in every aspect, from the scent to the bottle, and a fragrance that people have never smelled before but that feels immediately comforting and delicious," said Kylie in a press statement. “We spent over two years working on this. I wanted it to be fresh yet sweet and to smell “out-of-this-world”, and to feature some of my favorite notes including star jasmine and vanilla musk.”
The yummy scent is not the only amazing feature, we're also obsessed with the look and shape of the bottle. It has a sculptural design which allows it to sit in your palm perfectly (it's pretty cool!) and it also looks like a piece of modern art (intentionally designed to look like its from another world) that will elevate any vanity space. The bottle also features a sustainable, refillibe design system and comes embossed with Kylie's birthday for a personal touch.
The fragrance is avaiable in three sizes: 30ML, 50ML, and 100 ML. You can also grab the 10ML pen spray to give it test run for yourself or to toss into your purse.

- Longevity 8/10: Although it lasted longer than I expected, it was rather faint 4 hours in.

- Smells like: Like Sweet Pea in 2009 but the adult version.
If I’m being completely honest, I’m shocked! I didn’t doubt Kylie knew fragrance, but the staying power is what shocked me. Sprayed it on around 2pm and by 7pm, I could still smell it! Cosmic smells very soft, light, floral, and flirty. It's like one of those Zara or Victoria's Secret spritzers with the staying power of a parfum.
From the moment I sprayed it on, I was enveloped in a cloud of wanderlust that instantly lifted my spirits and made me visualize all the different trips, scenarios, and outfits this would pair well with. But what truly sets this perfume apart is not just its heavenly scent—it's the bottle babe! Every detail, from its fun silhouette to the dimples in the glass, I'm obsessed. It instantly elevates my vanity. There's nothing Kylie Jenner can't do I fear…

I am not super adventurous when it comes to finding a new fragrance. I’m a huge proponent that if it's not broken, don’t fix it, so once I find a scent or two that I love, I don’t switch it up. But I was intrigued to give Miss Jenner’s perfume a whirl. If this is a safe space, I have to admit I never outgrew the fruity, vanilla, sweet scents when it comes to perfume. I love to smell sweet, but as I get older I do love to have something that layers as a contrast with a more earthy smell that isn’t too obvious. I want people to think I smell good without knowing that I sprayed perfume. The super fruity middle school-esque perfume doesn’t give me a fighting chance to have a mysterious aroma about me. So I was tempted to try Cosmic out with its multi-scent makeup.
Surprisingly, inside the enormous celebrity beauty brand industrial complex, perfume is something a lot of celebrities get right. So I was excited to dive into Cosmic by Kylie. First off the packaging is simple, but the bottle design is perfect. Its ridges make for the perfect clutch, and I was less nervous about dropping it on the floor because of the design. Now, on to the actual scent. I’ve never lived in a “less is more" mindset when it comes to fragrance, but I will say the initial scent of this perfume was so strong (I was way too heavy-handed at first) that I started to get a headache.
So I forewarn, do not over spray this bad boy or you’ll be swamped in smells. The scent is very sweet at first, but there is a nice husk to it that gives it a more powdery earth scent. It mixes well with the vanilla, giving a smell that isn’t too mature nor is it too juvenile. It’s somewhere in the early 20s, where you still want to be fun and flirty but also have a dash of sophistication. After a few hours the scent wasn’t super strong, but it still smelt nice on my body. My coworkers could smell it as I walked past, but not as intensely as when I first sprayed it, so it definitely has a stronghold of about 4 hours. After testing this out for a while I do see myself wearing it again and potentially layering it with something less sweet at work and then something more sweet when going out at night.

When I first saw that Kylie was dropping a perfume, I was super excited to try it. I had a strong feeling it would be nothing less than amazing and Cosmic lived up to my expectations. I was a huge fan of the Kylie Jenner by KKW Fragrance Nude (which came in that iconic lip-shaped bottle) and was super sad when it got discountined becuase it smelled sooo good and always got me lots of compliments whenever I wore it. I'm now expecting the same with Cosmic.
With the first spray, I'm immediately engulfed into a sweet, warm cloud filled with notes of star jasmine and accords of golden amber and vanilla mask. When it dries down, the super sweet scent becomes a bit more calm and lingers on my skin faintly (you will need to spritz it a few more times throughout the day to keep the scent going.) I also really appreciate the smooth feel and cool sculptural shape of the bottle, which was crafted to fit perfectly in the plam of hand and look like a piece of art from another world. It's definitely a perfume that going into my day-to-day lineup.
