Monday night, Glamour magazine held its Women of the Year awards, which brought out Hollywood's A-List in red carpet-ready designer gowns — except for Kylie Jenner.
The typically pulled-together reality TV star came to the formal award ceremony wearing a denim jacket, leggings, and sneakers. It was certainly unexpected to see Kylie wearing something that looked more appropriate for getting snapped by paps grabbing coffee than a red carpet glam moment. But it doesn't sound like she was expecting the casual moment either; according to her Instagram, "some major wardrobe malfunctions" led to her unusually laid-back appearance.
We've all been there: You're getting ready for a night out, and absolutely nothing you have to wear is working. It's so tempting to just give up on the going-out clothes and jump back into your most comfortable outfit — but not many of us have red carpet appearances to get ready for.
Of course, Kylie pushed through what could have been an embarrassing moment for one really important reason: Her dad Caitlyn Jenner was being honored during the ceremony. We don't know what Kylie intended to wear, but nothing looks better than supporting your loved ones.
