Kylie Jenner is very aware of the conversation surrounding her lip fillers and alleged surgical procedures, but she's not bothered by it.
In a new interview with HommeGirls, Kylie says that she's had less work done than many may think, though she's not shy about admitting her infamous lip filler was one of the best decisions she's made. "I think a big misconception about me is that I've had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn't! Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room," the Kylie Cosmetics founder explained. "I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I don't regret it. But I always thought I was cute."
Kylie, who is now 25, also opened up about having a whole new perspective on beauty since having kids. "It's made me love myself more. I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me," she shared. "I get to see my beauty in her, and it's made me love myself more for sure. Beauty is always changing for me."
Kylie and her fillers have been a topic of conversation for years. She first got lip filler in 2015 after feeling insecure about her lip size and spun that into the first massively successful Kylie Lip Kits. In July 2018, she made waves when she announced she removed all her filler but started getting lip filler again shortly thereafter. She's also been very open about her thoughts on plastic surgery in the past, acknowledging that she's had some work done but hasn't gone under the knife. "People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false," she famously told Paper Magazine in 2019. "I'm terrified! I would never. They don't understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do. It's fillers. I'm not denying that."
These days, the star and mom of two says she is enjoying a more pared-back beauty routine. "I think less is more," she explained. "I'm just embracing my natural beauty, my freckles and my bushy brows."
