Lamine Yamal has a penchant for a luxe accessory, and this World Cup is no exception. The newly 19-year-old soccer player is competing for Spain in the tournament taking place in North America. And while he may be a long way from home, he’s not without his assortment of luxury bags. And for today’s semi-final game against France, he’s brought out a statement piece.
Walking into the match on July 14, just the day after his birthday, Yamal brought a Gen Z flair to his tunnel look. Yamal wore typical soccer gear—Spain’s team shirt and matching track pants—his personality was all in the details. He completed the look with chunky white Adidas sneakers and plenty of accessories. In addition to his signature necklaces and watch, he also wore a distressed denim New York hat, though the game was actually in Dallas, Texas.
Yamal is also known to carry a designer bag with him, and today, he doubled up for the special game. On one side, he carried his typical hand pouch—a pink Bottega Cubo which retails for $4,900. He was spotted carrying the trusty bag a few times earlier in the tournament as well. On the other side, he also carried a brown Bottega vanity kit with a crossbody strap. The purse retails for $3,300, which means Yamal’s bag combo is $8,200.
Throughout the 2026 World Cup, we’ve indeed gotten a glimpse of Yamal’s impressive taste in handbags. He’s been spotted wearing Chanel bags too, including the tweed one he wore arriving in Tennessee back in June. And the young athlete has shown off his love for a great bag throughout his career as part of FC Barcelona, too. So, it’s safe to say he must already have a pretty impressive collection of designer pieces.
