If you need still need to be convinced that the silk scarf is the chicest trend of summer 2024, Huh Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM can fix that. The K-pop star was recently spotted sporting the accessory not just once but twice.

On July 12, 2024, Yunjin shared a video of herself and Le Sserafim groupmate Sakura dancing to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Mamushi.” While Yunjin wasn’t doing Sailor Moon cosplay like Megan did for the dance challenge, she was wearing something similar to another one of the Houston rapper’s recent looks. Like Megan, Yunjin joined the silk scarf trend and wore one tied around her neck like a bow. The patterned scarf was a pop of color against her layered white T-shirt and matching lace tank top. With her hair braided into pigtails and accessorized with bayonetta glasses, the whole look incorporated many of the season’s hottest styles, making it all the more trendy.

This isn’t the first time Yunjin wore the silk scarf look though. On July 7, the “Blessing in Disguise” singer shared a photo dump to her personal Instagram page. In the pictures, she wore a white floral corset tip with a short silver necklace, which was highlighted by a touch of body glitter, and cherry-shaped drop earrings. For this look, she wore her silk scarf tied like a headband framing her long, layered light brown hair, giving the look a fun retro feel.

Yunjin is the latest celebrity to give the silk scarf trend a stamp of approval. In addition to Megan Thee Stallion, BLACKPINK’s Lisa also wore a summer scarf last month for a moto-inspired look. Previously, Hailey Bieber wore the look to Coachella and Billie Eilish sported it on a red carpet.

Whether you opt for a coquette look like Yunjin or an edgy vibe like Lisa, it’s safe to say the silk scarf is quickly becoming a summer wardrobe staple. Don't miss out!
