Lindsay Lohan Instagrams About Alleged Abusive Relationship, Pleads for Privacy

Lindsay Lohan and her fiancé Egor Tarabasov have been making headlines with their recent relationship troubles, as the actress accused him of cheating and strangling her this past weekend. In a video posted by The Sun, she was also seen screaming for help at her home in Knightsbridge, London. The police did not arrest Egor as they arrived to an empty house and matters have not escalated since.

Exact details have yet to be revealed, but Lindsay pleaded for her privacy yesterday (July 25) on Instagram.

I would appreciate if these speculations regarding my personal life would respectfully come to a halt. Unfortunately, a private matter has become more public than I can control and I would be extremely grateful if my fiancé and myself could discuss our personal matters on our own. There are more important things going on in the world than our relationship. Please leave us be to solve our personal matters.

Though allegations of abuse are certainly serious, it's unclear as to what is going on between Lindsay and Egor. At this point, the most we can do is hope that Lindsay stays safe.
