The Summer I Turned Pretty fans are being fed this Paris Fashion Week and it has less to do with the clothes. Lola Tung, the star of the hit Amazon series, was seen in Paris for the last few days, attending fashion shows like Balmain. What fans thought was just a regular fashion month trip ended up also being a week of filming for season three of the show. Tung was spotted by fans around Paris shooting varying scenes in train stations, as well as out on random streets around town.
For those who aren’t super familiar with the popular young adult romantic drama, The Summer I Turned Pretty follows Isabel “Belly” Conklin through several summers of her life as she’s caught between the Fisher brothers, Jeremiah and Conrad — played by Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Briney, respectively.
In the The Summer I Turned Pretty books, which would directly be set in season three of the television series, after breaking up with Jeremiah, Belly spends a year abroad in Spain. During this time alone Conrad begins to write her letters to re-establish their relationship.
What made these fan sightings even more exciting was the fact that Casalegno was also spotted with Tung in Paris, which means Jeremiah is potentially chasing after Belly in season three and could be a bit more book accurate than fans initially assumed.

In the first two seasons of the show, Belly is seen reading books and speaking in French, which could be the reason the show decided on Paris instead of Spain. While Briney was nowhere to be seen in Paris (Conrad where art thou?), we did see Tung and Casalegno hugging on the streets of Paris, Belly with her bags in tow.
The excitement of knowing that season 3 is still being filmed and that Belly still can’t make up her mind on which Fisher boy she truly loves was slightly overshadowed by the details of her travel bags. Like many of us, Belly is also dreaming of a European getaway, and she clearly knows how to pack for one. We’ve all been obsessing over the TikTok viral Away bag, so it’s quite on-brand for Belly to be tapped into one of the most talked about suitcases on the internet. From the looks of it, Belly is carrying the Carry-On in Sea Green.

While we couldn’t find an exact match just yet to the bookbag Tung is carrying in the scene, this CalPak travel bag is a close alternative.
After seeing the video, fans also noticed just how large the bag on Tung’s back actually was. Knowing Belly, there’s definitely a ton of new French books in there for her to read, hand-knit sweaters from local shops around Paris, and maybe even a stolen hoodie from Conrad — sorry to the Belly-Jeremiah truthers.
Lola Tung is notably a fashion girl and fans were excited to see Belly’s look in Paris while filming. In the clip, she’s wearing blue jeans and a cropped white t-shirt, fans noting that this feels like something Tung would wear more than her actual character, which was exciting for them.
Tung has hinted that she’s trying to implement more of her personal style into Belly's character, which is so clearly what’s already starting to happen. As TSITP season 3 filming continues to unfold, we’re going to see Belly running away often from the love triangle she’s created and will be eyeing every item she has by her side.
