Rodney Cutler, owner of Cutler/Redken salons (and the man behind Emma Watson's pixie), reveals the look at the Banana Republic spring show.
Backstage at the Banana Republic Spring/Summer 2011 show, I was expecting a panicked frenzy similar to that of New York Fashion Week. Instead, I was greeted with a smile and a handshake by Rodney Cutler, owner of Cutler/Redken salons. "It's amazing how calm it is," he remarked as he adjusted the final model.
Calm must have been the key word: The clothes were Banana's signature easy lu, so naturally, the hair followed suit. "What we have here is a beautiful ponytail with a dry, airy texture," Cutler explained. "It's young and very fresh."
