After a whirlwind summer in the villa, #Kordena left Fiji with the world at their fingertips. It's no wonder R&B star Summer Walker tapped the couple to star in the new music video for her latest single, “Heart of a Woman.”
The intense music video follows the couple throughout a home, depicting a rollercoaster of emotions in just under three minutes — one moment, they're cuddling and loving on each other, then having a very heated argument the next. “Heart of a Woman" will appear on Walker's highly-anticipated album Finally Over It; the single explores the frustrating push-and-pull of a passionate relationship, albeit a strained one.
The heated scenes of the visual gave many Love Island fans flashbacks, as Kordena had their fair share of on-screen fights. Although they were ultimately triumphant at the end of the sixth season, Beckham and Page shared a tumultuous time together on the show, dealing with lots of emotions and a slow-burn beginning.
One of the biggest fights of the sixth season, which instantly became one of the most memorable moments of Love Island USA, occurred after Beckham chose to recouple with Casa Amor's Deja, which left Page single. Clips of their fight circulated online for days, particularly the moment where Beckham chases Page around the villa and argues, “Serena, dawg, you ain’t even let me really talk.” In the following episode, Page says during a confessional: “You think you’re about to have your cake and eat it too, and cater to both of us? You made your choice. You made your bed, hump in it.”
Both lines have been lip-synced hundreds of times on TikTok, so the two reality stars could've drawn inspiration from their own past to get into character for Summer Walker. “This felt like the extended version of the dock scene,” one fan commented under the music video on YouTube. “She even did her walk away. They killed this.”
“Having Kordell & Serena reenact their WHOLE Love Island experience again for your music video is craaaaazy,” agreed another. “Summer having the couple of the summer for this visual… this is history,” reacted one fan, summing up our thoughts, too.
This new music video appearance is just one of countless opportunities the couple has received since leaving the Peacock dating competition show. From Dunkin’ Donuts to Cheez-Its and Lyft, Page and Beckham have secured several large partnerships together, which proves just how much this latest season of Love Island impacted pop culture. Everyone seems to be obsessed with their love story — just ask Summer Walker, who clearly was just like all of us, sitting on the edge of her seat at home watching these reality stars fall in love.
