The end might be in sight for Pretty Little Liars but that doesn't mean you've seen the end of Lucy Hale just yet. (Thank goodness!)
While we savor the last ten episodes of PLL when they return to Freeform in April, Entertainment Weekly reports that the CW has acquired the pilot for Life Sentence, which will feature Lucy as its main protagonist.
The show is billed as a dramedy, and tells the story of a woman (that would be Lucy) who makes the most of her last days after a diagnosis of terminal cancer. But in a plot twist, it turns out she's going to live — and must deal with how she acted and what she did after her misdiagnosis. Given Aria Montgomery's penchant for navigating questionable life choices on PLL, we're sure Lucy will handle the plot like a pro.
There's no word as to when the pilot will air on the CW, or what Lucy's character will be named. Until then, we'll have A's lingering antics — and Shay Mitchell's new show! — to hold us over until the show airs.
