Sure, the stuff inside math textbooks can sometimes make our heads hurt, but this weekend, it was what was on a math textbook that had the Internet totally freaking out.

Yup, the company that printed the book pretty much admitted that it was time travel.

BuzzFeed, however, reported that in spite of claims that there has been a lapse in the space time continuum, there's another explanation for the picture. According to a Reddit thread last year, the picture was originally a stock photo of a diverse group of teens holding generic notebooks. That means that the specific Algebra textbook cover was photoshopped in later.
