Congratulations are in order for Megan Fox and MGK, who are currently expecting their first child together!
The Jennifer's Body star made the surprise announcement on Instagram on Monday, posting an image of herself covered in black oil and cradling her baby bump. She tagged her musician beau right on her stomach.
The next slide is a black-and-white image showing her positive pregnancy test. (Check out the pics here.) “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back 👼🏼❤️,” Fox captioned the announcement.
Almost exactly a year ago, Fox opened up about suffering a miscarriage during her relationship with Kelly, saying in a Good Morning America interview, “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately… trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
Even apart from that, the pair have had sort of an off-and-on journey, with Fox describing them, at the time, as “together and apart, together and apart, together and apart.” Kelly wrote about the miscarriage in his song “Last November," which Fox used as the audio track to her announcement post.
Megan Fox shares three kids with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green: Noah Shannon Green, Bodhi Ransom Green, and Journey River Green. MGK, formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, is also a dad; he and his ex Emma Cannon welcomed daughter Casie Colson Baker in 2009.
The pair may have been trying for a baby together for some time, as a source told Entertainment Tonight all the way back in 2021 that “MGK would love to start a family with Megan someday, but right now doesn’t seem to be the time in terms of scheduling.”
Guess they got the calendar worked out. Mazel tov!
