Megan Thee Stallion has been having the time of her life in Japan and the cosplays coming out of it are the perfect proof. The star made her way to Tokyo to serve as a presenter for the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards back on March 3, but she's extended her visit to give fans even more Japan content.
To coincide with the awards, Megan debuted not one but two 'fits inspired by anime characters. Her cosplay streak started with a modern reinterpretation of Jujutsu Kaisen's Gojo Satoru. “Jujutsu Kaisen is the hottest anime right now," Megan told Teen Vogue in person while rocking the 'fit. “It's the best! Well, let me not talk a bunch of sh*t on my other ones because I love them as well, but Jujutsu Kaisen is my favorite right now.”
She followed up her Gojo getup with a take on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Bruno Bucciarati to present at the actual ceremony, where, coincidentally, she presented Jujutsu Kaisen with the Anime of the Year top prize. Now she's continuing the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure tirade with another take on a beloved character.
Megan wrapped up her time in Japan by channeling her inner Jolyne “JoJo” Cujoh, also a character from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The star took to Instagram to show off her JoJo 'fit, which was complete with green-hair space buns, side-swept blonde bangs, and a bodysuit with plenty of cutouts.

Instead of drawing inspiration from the character as she did with Gojo and Bucciarati, Megan opted for a more faithful recreation this time around. To keep warm, she took on the liberty of adding a fuzzy green coat on top.
Coat aside, the look is almost a 1:1 recreation of JoJo's appearance on screen, which makes this a proper cosplay and perhaps our favorite from Megan yet. Even the belly ring, which, yes, we know is a staple for the Hot Girl coach, is canon.

Anime-inspired ‘fits aside, Megan has been playing around with her style a lot while in Japan and, luckily for us, documenting it all on social media. In the past week, she has donned a short bob with 3D butterfly tattoos, a cozy bunny headpiece with a crop top, and a long-sleeve wrap-around top that fully exposed her midriff.
Clearly, Megan Thee Stallion and Japan go well together, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store when she visits next.
