When it comes to walk-out looks, no other athlete does it quite like tennis star Naomi Osaka. For the US Open 2025 in New York City, she stepped out in an almost monochrome red look, complete with bedazzled accessories, including one of the most coveted in the world, the Labubu. The most eye-catching part of her look, however, might just have been her hair, which was adorned in a crown of roses, and had a significant transformation before she began her match.

For her August 26 match, Osaka arrived on the court wearing a bedazzled red jacket, paired with a matching top underneath and a red bubble skirt. She similarly wore red sneakers and highlighted the accents with black socks, breaking up the all-red look. Getting ready for the game, she even walked out with bedazzled red headphones. But that’s not the only accessory on her head that caught our eyes.

Osaka wore bedazzled red roses in her hair, arranged throughout her long locs for her pre-game look. It's like a 2025 update on the flower crowns that ruled the late 2010s. However, just before she began playing, the athlete took off her extensions and revealed her game look, a braided bun, still adorned with three small flowers.

Still, Osaka had one more trick up her sleeve. At the press conference later, she gave us a closer look at a detail you might have missed during her arrival. On the back of one of her bags, she had attached a Labubu keychain, but not just any one. She had a red bedazzled Labubu, which she proudly held up for everyone to see at the press conference.

This is just one of many all-out outfits Naomi Osaka has worn before. Last year, she went for a coquette look, wearing a bow-adorned bomber jacket and ruffled skirt in white and a trendy mint green. She even adorned her headphones with lace and bows, then, again, skipping no detail when it comes to committing to the look.
