Have you ever felt like you don't belong? A bit odd, too different to describe? Then we've got good news: there's a very special place for you, alongside Wednesday Addams herself.
The prestigious and spooky Nevermore Academy is once again accepting applications from outcasts from every walk — or lurch — of life. Outcasts will return to the gothic school featured in Wednesday when the second season premieres this August, and this time, Wednesday's brother Pugsley is enrolling at Nevermore, too. Looks like Wednesday won't be the only one embarking on her own uniquely terrifying coming-of-age journey.
In case you need to brush up on your Addams Family lore, Nevermore Academy is the place where Wednesday and Pugsley's mother and father first met; and now, you are officially invited to apply to join the twisted siblings at Nevermore this fall.
Per the gothic school's recruitment website, NevermoreAcademy.com, Nevermore Academy's origin story began in 1791 after being founded to institutionally “nurture outcasts, freaks and monsters” with “extraordinary abilities.”
The academy's recruitment website is darkly curious and enticing, even featuring a new video message from Nevermore's newly appointed principal, Barry Dort (played by the legendary Steve Buscemi). Principal Dort will be taking Nevermore Academy into a bold new direction, reimagining the school leadership position that was previously held by Principal Larissa Weems. (R.I.P.)
At NevermoreAcademy.com, fans will be able to scour the site for season 2 easter eggs, take a quiz to determine which Outcast power best suits them, and also apply for a chance to become a Nevermore Academy student. Warning: the competition for admittance is… cutthroat. The admissions office of Nevermore is expected to deliver notification of their decisions in the coming weeks. (The most dastardly decisions take time, of course.)
While you await your acceptance letter, check out some photos from Wednesday season 2 shared exclusively with Teen Vogue of your potential future alma mater. Below, take a peek at your new principal Barry Dort, a few new interesting enemies classmates, that longstanding tradition of Prank Day, and altars and bonfires alike.
Daydreaming about your blue-and-black striped uniform already? Patience, young spider. Nevermore might just be the place you've always belonged. Dive into the Nevermore Academy experience and make sure to tune into Wednesday season 2 when Part 1 premieres on Netflix on August 6, 2025.
