Hanni is a blonde! The NewJeans band member unveiled a super dramatic platinum blonde transformation at the Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week.
Hanni, who is a global ambassador for the Italian fashion house, swapped her dark hair for a pale, all-over light blonde hue and shared a pic on Instagram Stories to let fans in on her new look. To recap a little, here's Hanni at Seoul Fashion Week with her fellow NewJeans members just a couple of weeks ago:
Now, her hair has been completely bleached to a gorgeous baby blonde color and styled straight and long, nearly hitting her hips, with two shorter panels of hair near her face for more movement. In the pics debuting her new look, Hanni paired her fresh blonde with a Gucci logo baby tee, a silver heart pendant necklace, and a black Gucci shoulder bag.
Hanni has been working with Gucci for a little over a year; in fall 2022, she joined stars like Billie Eilish and Harry Styles as an ambassador for the brand. In March 2023, Hanni starred in her first Gucci campaign alongside Halle Bailey and Julia Garner, rocking the brand's 1955 Horsebit bag in a luscious cherry red color with an oversized herringbone jacket.
"Hanni's take on music and fashion style truly encompasses the brand's motif of embracing authentic individuality and self-expression," Gucci said of their partnership when it was announced.
Going this blonde from such a dark base isn't a one-day process. If you're dreaming of a Hanni-level transformation, it's best to lift slowly to avoid excess breakage and damage and to spread your bleach sessions over a handful of salon visits, like Eilish did when she went from black-and-green to pale blonde. But a Hanni-inspired shade is totally possible — and after seeing this photo, we have a feeling everyone will be going blonde!
