NewJeans’ Hanni Is Taking Over NYC With New UGG Billboard and Pop-Up (Exclusive)

And Teen Vogue got a peek at how it came to life.

New York City, get ready to greet a new face during your commutes because Hanni of K-pop girl group NewJeans is the star of UGG’s new SoHo billboard unveiled today, September 6. And to celebrate the occasion and the debut of the UGG New Heights Campaign, the brand is hosting a pop-up activation this weekend.

Hanni’s billboard can be found between 337 and 339 West Broadway, New York City. UGG and NewJeans fans, better known as Bunnies, can visit and stop by the pop-up event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 7. There, they can enjoy themed drinks and get custom phone charms and exclusive posters to take home. Make sure to look out for the UGG booth with a selection of blue and white flowers and a big blowup of the campaign imagery featuring Hanni.

UGG’s New Heights Campaign, which highlights their platform shoe collection for fall, kicked off with a recent photoshoot Hanni starred in alongside Alex Consani, Precious Lee, and more. On a rooftop backdropped by a city skyline, Hanni modeled the Classic Twin Seam New Heights boots paired with a knit dress and an oversized fluffy jacket for a quintessential fall look. The campaign already took over social media, so it’s taking over New York City IRL next.

Hanni, who was also born in Australia, first became an ambassador for UGG back in March of 2024. At the same time her role was announced, she also helped unveil the brand’s unique new models — GoldenGlow platform sandals, the Stratus sandals, and the Venture Daze mules and slides — as the star of a flowery springtime campaign. Now, she’s ushering the New Heights collection into our fall fashion must-haves. That means she has now been the face of two of the brand’s launches. As their partnership continues, there may be even more new collections, campaigns, and events to come.
