If I say Nicholas Galitzine and you picture The Idea of You-era or Red, White & Royal Blue-era Nicholas Galitzine, it might be time to update the mental image you have of the actor because he's undergone a massive fitness transformation and looks almost unrecognizable.

Galitzine gave fans a peek at his new look on his Instagram stories on December 18, 2024. To celebrate the holidays, the London native took to his account to post a picture of himself beside his lit-up Christmas tree, which made us do a triple take to make sure it was actually him.

In the pic, Galitzine, now sporting a longer hairdo, wears a pair of boxers and a big, long-sleeved white tee from Acne Studios. And as big as the tee was, it could barely contain Galitzine's beefed-up muscles. You can see the picture below:

Though the transformation might be shocking to most of us, there is a very good explanation behind it. Back in May, it was announced that Galitzine would be taking on the role of He-Man in the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie, which is expected to arrive in 2026, and he sure seems to be working out hard to begin shooting the project.

"I’m so beyond proud to announce that I will be playing Adam, Prince of Eternia in Masters of the Universe," Galitzine wrote on his Instagram when his casting was announced. “It has been a dream for so long to play someone of his heart, humor, and heroism. I cannot wait to get started.”

According to IMDd, the official logline for Masters of the Universe is as follows: “In furthest regions of space, the kingdom of Eternia is threatened by the villainous Skeletor and his mischievous armies of darkness. To save his father's kingdom and protect the lives of those he holds dear, young Prince Adam has to retrieve a mythical sword and become the fabled warrior only known as He-Man."

Galitzine will star in the titular role alongside Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, and Camila Mendes as Teela. The project is being directed by Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings, Bumblebee) with a script penned by longtime collaborator Chris Butler.
