North West is ringing in her 12th birthday by cosigning one of summer's most popular styles of pants: Jorts.
Over the weekend, North West was spotted alongside her mother, Kim Kardashian, and cousin Penelope Disick celebrating her last tween birthday on a yacht in Los Cabos, Mexico. For the occasion, the 12-year-old rocked an all-blue outfit to match the hairdo she debuted the night of the Met Gala 2025.
In images obtained by Backgrid, which you can see here, West is seen wearing a camisole-style top with thin straps and a gathered detail at the front in a vibrant cobalt blue shade. She paired the dainty top with mid-length blue denim culotte shorts and added a distinct touch by opting for a pair with a white pinstripe pattern.
West rounded off the look with a fresh multi-colored 3D manicure, dark sunglasses, and plenty of necklaces, bracelets, and watches on her neck and arms — including an unmistakable Vivienne Westwood orb necklace. (Since Coachella, she seems to love stacking jewelry!)
Though culottes have been popular on the scene for a while — just ask Hailey Bieber or Stray Kids' Hyunjin — capris and navy jorts specifically are picking up significant traction for summer of 2024, with celebs like Stray Kids' Bang Chan and Billie Eilish giving it their stamp of approval.
North West's pinstriped navy pair is a fun take on the classic design that could very well be dressed up or down for a day-to-night feel!
