Rodrigo shared her coordinating colors on Instagram with a mirror photo of herself wearing a satin crimson red lip and matching deep red nails, with yet another matching red lip print on the mirror in the foreground. "Bang bang kiss kiss," she captioned the pic. Rodrigo's nails are filed into an easygoing short, rounded square shape (all the better for playing guitar, we think) and look like rich, juicy summer cherries. The musician accessorized her manicure with a handful of silver rings and an all-black phone case.

The look is simple yet major, as fans think there may be a deeper meaning behind the selfie than just a beauty moment. The most prevalent theory is that the pic is an Easter Egg for a collab with Lana del Rey, whose song "Venice Bitch" heavily features the lyrics "bang bang kiss kiss," á la Rodrigo's caption.
Others think it could be a reference to the theme of her forthcoming second album; her first single, "Vampire," is set to drop on June 30, and some fans believe the red-on-red selfie is a nod to the mood or color palette of OR2. Her first album, Sour, was very purple, so it's entirely possible that she's sticking with a color theme for her next chapter, though it is worth noting that the cover shot for "Vampire" still features her signature pastel lilac.
