Netflix's On My Block might have ended three years ago, but the cast of the show still has plenty of love for each other — and their latest reunion is the perfect proof.
Earlier this week, Diego Tinoco, Sierra Capri, Brett Gray, and Jessica Marie Garcia (who played César, Monse, Jamal, and Jasmin on the show) attended the Newport Beach Film Festival in California in support of Julio Macias's new film, Atypical Pirate. Macias played Óscar Díaz, a.k.a Spooky, on the hit Netflix show.
Capri, Gray, and Garcia accompanied Macias on the red carpet and later sat in the audience during a special screening of the film. Per IMDb, Atypical Pirate follows the story of Hugo, played by Macias, “a neurodiverse savant involved in the dangerous theft of a valuable USB memory stick, [who] escapes from those who want to recover it.” The film also stars Danube Hermosillo as Cynthia. “When [Hugo] meets Cynthia, they set off in search of a new treasure,” the logline reads.

After the screening, the cast took to social media to shower Macias with love. “We're all so proud of you and your stellar performance in this film,” Capri posted on her stories. “Embodying someone with disabilities is not an easy task. Thank you for letting us be a part of its debut. I can't wait for everyone to see.”
Throwing it back to the On My Block days, the five stars also reunited for an adorable TikTok video posted to Gray's account, set to the song “Friends” by Laundry Day. “🥹🥹 missed yall sm,” Gray captioned the video, tagging his costars and hashtagging On My Block. On the screen, he wrote: “Family.”

Though this reunion will surely melt the hearts of On My Block fans around the world, it's not the first time the costars have shown love for each other. A quick look at Macias's Instagram shows you he and Jessica Marie Garcia hosted a Christmas event together last year called “La Posada.” He and Tinoco also linked up for a meet and greet earlier this year, and before that, Macias attended the premiere of Gray's I’m a Virgo show, in which he acted alongside Jharrel Jerome and Olivia Washington.
Some costars have also reunited on Tinoco's podcast, On My Pod. First, it was Jessica Marie Garcia, and earlier this year, it was Macias. You can watch the episode below:
