Because let's face it: after you're nominated for an Oscar, nothing in your life is ever the same. Or at least, we haven't been nominated — yet — but we can only imagine it isn't the same. And even if this isn't the first time you've been nominated, it's still exciting and life-changing and full of hope. (Hi, Leo.)
Whose agent will call them excitedly? Who will take to social media saying it's an honor just to be nominated? And who's already planning their Oscars viewing party gown? (Uh, that would be us. On both counts.)
