No one could've anticipated that after 108 years of not winning a championship, the Chicago Cubs would finally win the World Series in a nail-biting, extra-innings game against the Cleveland Indians. After all, who would have thought the team would have a historic, 8-7 win in the 10th inning?
Well, maybe this guy — who appears to have predicted the Cubs' win as a sign of the apocalypse in a 2014 tweet that's now gone viral. That's right, he said that in 2016, the World Series would be Cleveland versus the Chicago Cubs, and that the score would be tied in the seventh game in extra innings.

Of course, the world didn't end, so not all of the tweet was totally spot-on. But of course, the win was exciting for many Cubs (and sports) fans nonetheless, with many actors, musicians and politicians taking to Twitter to express their excitement. For starters, there was President Barack Obama, who (despite being a longtime Chicago White Sox fan) put his team allegiances aside to congratulate the Cubs on their win:

Perhaps the most effusive reaction, however, came from MSNBC's Chris Hayes, who posted a clip of himself singing in a Cubs hat and jersey:
