While parties, concerts, and festivals have been halted in light of the coronavirus pandemic, brands and celebs have squeezed their creative juices to entertain fans from the comfort of their home. And tonight (April 10) Rihanna herself is joining in on the (virtual) fun.
The musician, beauty mogul, and fashion extraordinaire is throwing a digital party, called #FentySocialClub, and has cordially invited everyone to celebrate her latest Fenty leather capsule collection. If you know anything about Rihanna is that she knows how to throw a fashion show IRL so we can just imagine that a digital party will be just as lit.
The #FentySocialClub will feature live DJ sets from Kitty Cash, Pedro, and Stretch Armstrong with a live performance by Octavian. You can join in on Fenty’s Instagram live at 3 p.m. PST/ 6 p.m. EST/ 11 p.m. BST. Rihanna said in her Instagram comments, “I’m dead*ss getting dressed up full face and heels,” so it’s only right we join her in putting on a good Friday night outfit to party. To help you out, here are six outfit ideas inspired by Rih, so go pull these picks out of your closet now!
1. Luscious Leather
This is the celebration of Fenty’s leather capsule so it’s fitting to rock a leather look from head to toe — or maybe just a top since you’re in your house. Rihanna has proven time after time to be the leather queen. If you want to mimic Rih's style, finish your leather top off with a bright Fenty Beauty look and, boom, you’re ready to party!
2. Sheer Galore
TBH, we’re still not over this Rihanna look from 2019 Fashion Awards — from the cornrows to the pastel, the whole 'fit is immaculate. Like the fashion icon she is, RiRi completed her look with a sheer jacket.
