Robert Pattinson is going to be a dad! The Twilight star and his longtime partner, actor and musician Suki Waterhouse, are expecting their first child, and Waterhouse broke the news onstage.
The Daisy Jones and the Six star was performing at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico when she broke the happy news. Waterhouse was wearing a pink sequined mini dress with knee-high boots and a feather jacket layered over the top, with her growing baby bump clearly visible under the shimmery 'fit. “I thought I'd wear something particularly sparkly to distract you from something else I've got going on,” she said, clearly referring to said baby bump. “I'm not sure it's working.” The crowd burst into cheers for her big news and she moved on with her set.

Pattison and Waterhouse started dating in 2018 and have made just a few public appearances together, including at the 2023 Met Gala, but for the most part, the two keep their relationship extra private. (Minus a reference on the rebooted Gossip Girl, anyway.) Despite their low-key life, Waterhouse did open up about her partner in early 2023. "I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years," Waterhouse told the Sunday Times. "I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I'm going back to see him." She told the publication that she finds him “hilarious” and that they've “always got so much to say.”
Of course, fans wasted absolutely zero time making Twilight-centric jokes about the pregnancy. “Hopefully they don’t name this child Renesmee,” wrote another. “Please make Taylor Lautner the godfather,” added another, who was clearly Team Jacob back in the day. While we highly doubt there will be anything Twilight-related in this baby's life — Renesmee 2.0 this is not — we're thrilled for the parents-to-be. Congrats to Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse!
