However, Sabrina Carpenter is in fact related to Nancy Cartwright, the actress who has been lending her voice to Bart Simpson for over 35 years.
Cartwright herself confirmed her relationship with Carpenter over on TikTok, where she has over two million followers for her voice-acting content. Cartwright addressed the speculation in a video replying to a fan who outright asked her if she and Carpenter were related.
"Absolutely," Cartwright immediately responded after reading the question out loud, making sure to include a picture of herself with Carpenter as proof. “Isn't that amazing to find out that somebody that maybe you have known for a little while — doing this little 10-year old-boy for 35 some years — is related to this, like, superstar? She's pretty amazing," she continued.

If you have been a fan of Carpenter for a while, then you'd know she has also talked about her relationship with Cartwright in the past. Appearing on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp in 2021, Carpenter already confirmed her aunt was, in fact, the voice of Bart Simpson and, much like Cartwright in her video, she also had nothing but praises for her family member.
“A very niche fun fact. It runs in the family, I guess,” Carpenter told the host. “By relation, I am also a legend. No, absolutely not, not even close. But I will say that my whole life, that was just the coolest thing in the world to me.”
Carpenter added that Cartwright is “a woman of many talents” and that she “always blows [her] away.” She added: "It was always really cool growing up when she would just pull out the Bart voice if we were at a restaurant."
