Sabrina Carpenter knows how to make an entrance. The first-time Grammy nominee arrived on the 2025 red carpet in a baby blue gown that has us all taking a second look. The 25-year-old arrived, giving us old Hollywood glamour, a very clear trend this awards season. The dress featured a high knotted neck with a diamond draping around her shoulders and then down her back. The custom JW Anderson gown featured a galore of feathers around her hips and along the trim of her train. Carpenter is big on feathers and anything whimsical—all big sartorial features we saw during her tour.
And while the high-neck dress was stunning, the addition of the rather risque low-low-low back on the gown is what is stealing the show. Carpenter's gown falls perfectly with the current cheeky trend we're seeing in fashion. From the OG Manny Santos to the upscale way Alexa Demie wore it, and now Sabrina Carpenter, all of our favorite celebrities are embracing a very low back for their huge fashion moments.
In line with her aesthetic, Carpenter kept her beauty very old Hollywood too. On the carpet, she wore her hair curled and pinned up, framing her face perfectly. She finished the look with a glowy makeup and pink-ish nude lip color.
Carpenter is already leaving the awards show as a Grammy winner. Before the show officially began, she took home two awards. The first in the Best Pop Solo Performance category for her hit song “Espresso.” The second was for Best Remixed Recording for "Espresso," the Mark Ronson x FNZ Working Late Remix. Carpenter has had a whirlwind year; from her short and' sweet tour to NPR's Tiny Desk, the former Disney star is proving that the limit your success has absolutely no limit.
