When you think about Sabrina Carpenter's hair, you probably think of her big, bouncy, luscious blowout, right? The bombshell hair is a signature part of her pop star aesthetic, but the singer does sometimes change it up from the va-va-voom look. Case in point: her undone wavy pigtails at the Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026 show in Paris, which brought a little bit of cottagecore energy to Couture Week.
Carpenter, an ambassador for the French fashion house, jetted off to Paris after (reportedly, probably) attending Taylor Swift's New York City wedding, where she slipped into a gorgeous white lace midi dress with a cowl neck. The Man's Best Friend musician skipped her usual blowout in favor of her natural waves, which were braided into two pastoral-inspired pigtails. Carpenter's hair was parted in the center and gathered into two loose braids, which were tied with white ribbons to match her dress. Carpenter's signature swingy curtain bangs were pushed to either side of her face instead of across her forehead. She styled the dress-and-braids combo with a pair of low-heeled white mule sandals and a small white Dior bag.
The ethereal vibes of the white lace dress paired with the pigtail braids felt so summery, despite the fact that Carpenter was checking out looks for the upcoming chillier seasons. She also swapped her usual super-glam makeup for something a bit lighter, with fresh skin and minimal eye makeup, adding to the “country maiden frolicking through the fields” aesthetic of her dress and hairstyle. It's a little bit cottagecore, but the Dior of it all keeps it high fashion too—like you're strutting down the runway or sitting in the front row of a fashion show, then hopping in a car to head back to your country home for a picnic in the garden!
