Jacob Elordi just smelled the candle inspired by his own… uh, secretions, and gave it a pretty positive review at that.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Elordi was finally able to give the candle a sniff of his own after it made the rounds on a variety of awards show red carpets, and declared the scent as “not bad.”

According to Elordi, his Priscilla costar Cailee Spaeny had been sending him videos of people reviewing the viral Jacob Elordi's Bathwater Candle, and Fallon just so happened to have one on hand. (Spaeny also smelled the candle herself on the Golden Globes red carpet and though she first said “it terrifies me,” she eventually decided it “smells really nice.”)

ICYMI: an Etsy seller named SideHustleVibes got right to work making an aromatic ode to Elordi and that Saltburn bathtub scene after it stirred up outrageous excitement across the Internet following the movie's streaming premiere. The candle references Elordi's onscreen character Felix, who masturbates in a bathtub during the film; Barry Keoghan's character Oliver notoriously licks up the remnants later, sucking the drain clean.

When he finally got his hands on the candle, Elordi couldn't help but attempt to slurp it, too. “It smells like a washing room, like detergent,” the actor said after the audience's laughing died down. “Yeah, it's not bad." A definitive review from the man himself.

Jacob Elordi's Bathwater Candle is a soy wax candle that comes in three aromas — Comfort Spice, Sea Breeze, and Vanilla — and retails for just under $28. “There's nothing quite like the smell of a quality candle, particularly when that smell is inspired by Jacob Elordi and what we imagine His Highness to smell like… Our candle aims to capture the essence of the charismatic figure of Felix Catton, promising a sensorial experience like no other," the brand wrote in the candle's description. “Let the flickering flame and the captivating scent transport you to Emerald Fennell's world of Saltburn, where fantasy and reality intertwine.” Well, alrighty then.

The viral candle has spawned a fleet of copycats, and Elordi's costar Keoghan joked about being a customer. “I already have 10 of them,” Keoghan told Variety on January 3. “They’re all burning at my house right now.” (Which scent do you think he chose? He seems like a Sea Breeze kinda guy.)

The scene now lives in movie infamy forever, but Elordi was apparently a fan of its salaciousness right from the start. He told Stream Wars in December that he was “excited” about the prospect of filming such a shocking moment.

“I was just really excited when I read that scene, because you don’t really see things like that in mainstream movies a lot of the time,'” Elordi explained, praising the film's writer and director Emerald Fennell. “So it’s just great that Emerald was allowed to kind of push those boundaries and expose people like that.” In November, he also told Variety that he was “very proud” of the scene. “I was like, ‘Thank God, it’s mine,’” Elordi joked of the onscreen emission. “I was very proud. I was very proud to have Barry Keoghan guzzling it like that.”
