Well, we don't have to wonder anymore because Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco officially tied the knot on September 27, 2025, and immediately shared the wedding bliss with everyone online. So, of course, we are compiling all the details we've gotten so far about the big bash.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were longtime friends before their relationship turned romantic, and they kept most of the details of their nuptials under wraps for a while. However, now that the celebration took place at a luxury private estate in Santa Barbara, California, the duo is sharing glimpses into their celebration publicly. They wore both Ralph Lauren.
As immortalized on both of their Instagram pages, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco both wore Ralph Lauren for their wedding reception. Gomez wore an embroidered gown with a low back silhouette and a high halter neckline, which she paired with platinum diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co., while Blanco wore a classic tuxedo.
As shared on Blanco's account, Gomez later changed into a second dress, featuring another high halter neckline but this time made of sheer white lace with floral detailing. She paired the dress with a long veil and strappy white heels. You can see the photo here.
Gomez modified her engagement ring to incorporate her wedding band.
Shortly after the wedding, Blanco posted a close-up photo of their wedding rings, which revealed Gomez had modified her engagement ring — a gold band encrusted with diamonds leading to the marquis diamond at the center — to feature a second diamond-encrusted band. You can see the photo here.
It was a star-studded bash!
We knew Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's wedding would be packed with A-listers ever since, on May 15, 2025, Ed Sheeran spilled the beans that he's both a) invited to Gomez and Blanco's wedding and b) has already received the physical invitation to said wedding on Vanity Fair's Lie Detector Test.
Back then, Sheeran shared that he had already RSVPed on behalf of himself and his wife. What we didn't know was that he would be in charge of delivering a speech. People reported that both Sheeran and Gomez's BFF, Taylor Swift, gave speeches during the couple's wedding reception. And they were not the only ones: Gomez's mom, Mandy Teefey, as well as her stepfather, Brian Teefey, also delivered heartwarming speeches, as did Blanco's parents, Sandra and Andrew Levin.
Gomez and Blanco reportedly had 170 guests at the wedding, including Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Cara Delevingne, Nicky and Paris Hilton, Finneas, SZA, Camila Cabello, Eric André, Zoe Saldaña, Édgar Ramírez, Sofia Carson, Halsey, Ashley Park, as well as Gomez's Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars David Henrie, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera, and David DeLuise. Mark Ronson also reportedly served as the DJ at the reception!
On September 9, shortly after her bachelorette party, Gomez stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin and confirmed they were invited to the wedding, though Meryl Streep was notably absent as she was filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 in Milan Fashion Week.
When she revealed the two were invited to the wedding, Gomez even jokingly added that Short would be the ring bearer. "We are all so excited because we love this lady and we love her fiancé, Bad Bunny," Short jokingly added before quippingly being corrected by Gomez. "It’s wonderful, I’m very lucky," Gomez finally said in a serious note, adding that planning “is going well” and she's "so excited."

Earlier that same day, Short opened up about his co-star's wedding in an episode of the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast. “I just adore her. I'm so happy that she's getting married to this fabulous guy, Benny Blanco, who's just one of the great, cool guys and funny and loose, and she adores him," he said. “I'm just thrilled for her happiness, and I'm thrilled to get to work with her.”
He might not have been the ring bearer (that we know of), but per People, Short and Martin also gave a speech at the rehearsal dinner.
Selena Gomez's grandfather walked her down the aisle.
Gomez's mother, Mandy Teefey, revealed that her own father, a.k.a. Gomez's grandfather, David Cornett, affectionately referred to as Papa, was the one who walked the bride down the aisle in lieu of her father, Ricardo Gomez, or her stepdad, Brian Teefey.
“What a perfect celebration for the most kick *ss couple I know! The evening couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect! Absolutely flawless!" Teefey wrote in an Instagram post. "It was a fairytale come true and it was beyond heartwarming watching my father walk her down the aisle!!! XO.”
They said they wouldn't have a “first dance.”
Prior to the wedding, the two musicians shared that they would be skipping the traditional first dance on the Table Manners podcast back in April. (Blanco chalked it up to Gomez's shyness.) However, Gomez did share that she'd be doing a special dance with her grandfather instead.
Gomez is not planning on converting to Judaism — and she's also not changing her name.
While speaking with Interview magazine on Valentine's Day 2025, Blanco said that the couple will “of course” be dancing the hora, a traditional Jewish wedding dance, at their reception, but Gomez does not currently have plans to convert. “I don’t think I’ll be doing that,” Gomez said. “Not that it’s bad.”
"No," agreed Blanco, “We want our kids to have both of our values, both of our morals, and hopefully when we mix them up in a pot they’ll [turn out good]." (On that note, Gomez has revealed she will also not be changing her name after the nuptials!)
