For the past week, the media's spotlight has pretty much been fixed and focused on Selena Gomez. From her new album, Revival, dropping yesterday to her brave announcement sharing that she was diagnosed with Lupus and underwent chemotherapy, it's pretty hard for Selena to fly under the radar. And we mean that figuratively and literally. Today, the 23-year-old star stepped out at for the first time since both announcements to catch a flight at LAX, but certainly didn't go unnoticed.
The singer made her way through the airport dressed in basically the opposite of comfortable sweats and a hoodie, getting out of the car in a gorgeous Vionnet cocktail dress from their FW15 collection. The dress was so nice, it looked like it belonged on the red carpet. But hey, celebs have to be ready for a photo-op at a moments notice so why not be prepared and travel in style.
While this obviously isn't your typical in-flight cozy attire, Selena looks like she's getting around in it without fuss and that's all that matters when you're on the go. We're also guessing she probably doesn't have to worry about shlepping her own bags through customs, so wrinkling her dress is not a worry on her mind. Selena's formal wear at the airport may turn heads for some, but in the life of a pop star, anything goes.
