Selena Gomez Wears Embellished Black Gown at Her Best Friend's Wedding

We already know that Selena Gomez is the queen of both glam and comfort, but she recently took the LBD to the next level with her elegant maid of honor gown at her best friend’s wedding.

Harper’s Bazaar reports that Sel stood alongside her best friend Courtney Barry as she exchanged vows with Sam Lopez on Thursday, February 21. While the singer-songwriter hasn’t posted any photos of her own yet, plenty of pics soon made the rounds on Instagram, revealing Selena’s glamorous black gown. The dress had thick shoulder straps, a fitted rhinestone-embelished bodice, and a full skirt. Always one to go full old Hollywood, Selena finished off the look with a low bun (hello center part), dangling earrings, and a bold red lip. Prom inspo? Check.

It seems as though Selena and the rest of the guests had a blast at Courtney and Sam’s wedding. One video even showed Sel dancing along to her hit single “Hands to Myself” (I mean, it’s such a bop, who could blame her), while another snap highlighted all the fun everyone had in the photo booth. (I spy Niall Horan, too!)

We can only imagine that Selena’s maid of honor speech was endlessly sweet. The singer-songwriter celebrated with Courtney earlier this month with what looked like an epic girls’ beach getaway. “My best friend is getting married, so we celebrated her!” Selena wrote in the February 11 post. “Future Mrs. Lopez.”
