A Teenage Fan Was Sexually Assaulted at a Selena Gomez Concert

A teenage fan was sexually assaulted at a Selena Gomez concert in Melbourne, Australia earlier this month. The Australian outlet 9News reports that police are still looking for the suspect, and have released photos in attempt to find him.

From their report:

Authorities say a man approached the young woman during the August 6 concert at Margaret Court Arena, and sexually assaulted her.

The Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are also looking into whether the man may have approached other audience members at the concert, or at another concert at the same venue on the following night.

As Marie Claire notes, "Selena Gomez shows should 100 percent be a safe space for young women." Also, if a Selena Gomez concert isn't a safe space, where is?
