On January 5, the singer and actor shared a beauty routine on the video platform. Soundtracked with Miley Cyrus’ “Never Be Me,” the star started off by gently applying La Mer’s serum The Concentrate with her fingers. She then generously poured Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O Micellar Water on a towel and removed the makeup from her cheeks, repeating the process with a beauty blender to clean off the makeup from her eyes.
In the caption, the singer explained the logic behind her makeup removal hack. “Use any serum to take off makeup before washing. It breaks it up nicely. Also, use a sponge to wipe eyes to treat eyes delicately when removing makeup,” she wrote. While it only includes two must-have products (micellar water and a beauty blender), Selena’s take is not only super efficient but also more eco-friendly. If you’ve been meaning to incorporate sustainable practices in your beauty regime, this is definitely a tip to adopt as it offers an alternative to tools like single-use cotton pads.
After wiping off her makeup, Selena also applied Dermalogica’s Multi-Active Toner, La Mer’s The Renewal Oil, Tatcha’s The Water Cream, and Laneige’s Radian-C Cream. To finish off her beauty routine, she carefully used Rare Beauty’s recently launched Positive Light Under Eye Brightener, around her eyes. The singer then moved on to hair care, spraying IN COMMON’s Magic Myst Universal Hair Elixir and applying the Leave-In Hair Repair Treatment.
