But why not go the extra mile and support Mexican-owned places directly?

By now, you’ve probably seen the picture of Selena Gomez sitting idly, wrapped in a cozy blanket, looking out into the nothingness. The internet has been wondering what she may be thinking, sitting there with her pouty lips and moisturized face while we meme this photo to bits. Is it contentment, is it discomfort, is she head empty, no thoughts? We’ll never know. But we did take a second to peek at the details of her cozy day look.

Aside from the oversized grey and mint blanket wrapped around her, in front of the multi-hyphenate star on the table is a Fendi Baguette bag, one of her favorites that she uses to elevate her look quite often. And with shiny, moisturized lips like that, we’re almost sure she’s probably wearing the coveted Rare Beauty Lip Oil.

The star of the show, however, has been the blanket, which, surprisingly, can be found on Amazon. The “Teal and Gray Cabo Mexican Blanket” by Laguna Beach Textile Co, a Southern California-based company, is made of recycled polyester and cotton and is meant to be used in whatever way you like: at the beach, to practice yoga, or to wrap around yourself on a summer day and contemplate the universe.

According to the brand's website, the blanket is handwoven by a small family of craftsmen in Tlaxcala, Mexico, but if you want to take it an extra step, might we suggest buying directly from certified fair-trade merchants or local Mexican businesses if you are planning to recreate the serene vibes of the pic? Mexican textiles are known for being a rich and historical art form, usually as a canvas for storytelling, and they’ll keep you just as warm as you stare out into the sea, unbothered, moisturized, and staying in your lane like Selena Gomez.
