Selena Gomez just wore a gown to go cast her vote. The actor hit two birds with one stone by making a pit stop at the mail-in voting ballot box before heading to the red carpet for the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place red carpet premiere. She wore an elegant formal gown for both, making it work for the two very different occasions.
For her packed schedule on October 28, Gomez donned a sparkly red dress. The strapless bodice was emphasized by a structural sweetheart neckline. Across the corseted top, matching ruby and candy apple red sequins formed a pattern, highlighted by the ultra shiny ruby red high-low midi skirt and matching heels. Gomez got the dress from one of her go-to brands Rodarte, an American label created by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy and known for whimsical frocks.
As for glam, the Rare Beauty founder opted for an equally fab look. She wore her medium-length hair parted down the middle Gen Z style with slight waves. In the makeup department, she went with a touch of pink blush and a matching lipstick to accent her light shimmery eyeshadow.
Gomez chronicled her voting experience via TikTok. She showed off her mail-in ballot while in the car and even took a video of herself at the ballot box — all while being almost red carpet ready. There, she added one last touch to her look, an “I voted” sticker on her matching red bag with a sparkly buckle.

It seems like Gomez has had a busy week so far. Along with boyfriend Benny Blanco, she celebrated Halloween dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland, complete with a blonde wig that made her look almost unrecognizable. Blanco went as the Mad Hatter to match. In addition to the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place red carpet premiere, it was a pretty jam-packed schedule. The star, however, still made sure to spend a few minutes casting her vote and completing her civic responsibility in a very fashionable outfit.
