SEVENTEEN's Mingyu is keeping his fashion strike going. Just days after being announced as Dior's newest ambassador, the star is back in his fashion beat, this time fronting a campaign by Calvin Klein.
Calvin Klein, which has previously worked with K-pop idols Jungkook and Jennie, has tapped Mingyu as the star of its new fall 2024 campaign directed by AJ Duan and shot by Park Jong Ha.
According to a press release sent by the brand, “the campaign spotlights the K-pop superstar’s distinctive style,” with Mingyu's “personality coming into focus against soft blue and orange backdrops, where vibrant color, gradient, and shadow complement his playful energy and body language.”
For both the video spot and the campaign images, Mingyu was decked out in new and classic styles by Calvin Klein, with a focus on denim. He models the 90s Straight Jeans in three different ways, pairing them with the brand's Signature 90s Trucker and Modern Cotton Air Trunks; with the Archive Logo Relaxed Crewneck T-Shirt; and with the Monogram Logo Tee layered under the Twill Nylon Bomber Jacket, among others.
Mingyu's new campaign with Calvin Klein arrives as the star gets ready for Seventeen [Right Here] World Tour in the U.S., their first concert stops on North American soil in two years following the culmination of their Be The Sun tour in Newark in September 2022. The new tour will see the group stopping by Illinois, New York, Texas, and California across October and November,
