Welcome to the latest member of the Celebrity Bob Club, Simone Biles! The Olympic gold medalist showed off what may be her shortest style ever at the 2024 CMA Awards on November 20 in Nashville, Tennessee, and we're obsessed.
Biles typically wears her hair long, falling past her shoulders, but she said “See ya!” to several inches of hair for the CMAs in a “voluminous ‘90s glam” bob by hairstylist Justin Revenge.
Her bob hit right at her chin and was parted deeply to the side with lots of volume at the root for extra body. We're pretty sure we've never seen Biles's hair this short before, but we love it. Given that we're just a few weeks away from 2025, there's no better time to make a big change.
Makeup artist Deja Blackwell matched Biles's eyeshadow to her gown with a metallic shadow all over her lids, smoked out with a deeper taupe-gray in the crease. Blackwell then added majorly long, fluttery lashes and a glossy lip, and Biles was ready for the red carpet.
Biles's red carpet gown was equally dazzling; she wore a metallic silver column gown with an asymmetrical neckline and dropped shoulder, styled with black pumps and a pop of color from her red-orange drop earrings, plus a pearly white manicure.
Later, Biles changed into another all-silver outfit, presenting an award wearing a shimmering, sparkly silver suit with slouchy trousers and a long jacket. (Her Team USA teammate Jordan Chiles is also a silver suit fan; she wore one to the GQ Man of the Year party a few weeks ago.)
In her Instagram Stories, Simone Biles shared that she took advantage of her Nashville visit and scooped up a new pair of cowboy boots. (When in Rome, right?) She didn't share which pair made the cut, but we'll be keeping an eye on her social media for a sneak peek — or maybe the boots-and-bob combo will make an appearance at an upcoming Chicago Bears game!
